POPROX is a news recommendation research platform that helps researchers learn about the role of personalization in news and journalism. It's funded by the National Science Foundation and developed at the University of Minnesota in partnership with several other universities. The news is provided by the Associated Press, and the platform sends regular surveys to assess reader satisfaction. The information we collect (clicks, feedback, surveys) improves your newsletter and will help shape the future of news recommendation.

POPROX News has been approved as a research platform by the five participating universities and Advarra, an independent ethics review board. The POPROX Terms and Conditions and Privacy Policy are described in our Informed Consent to Participate in Research Agreement.
